What is Liquivida®?

Liquivida® is the provider of the IV Therapy formulations offered at Salus Per Aquam. Liquivida offers multiple nutrient IV formulations designed around different wellness goals.

Is IV Therapy the same as taking vitamins by mouth?

No. Oral supplements travel through the digestive system before their nutrients can be absorbed. An IV delivers its contents directly into the bloodstream.

That does not mean everyone needs IV vitamins or that IV supplementation is automatically better than a healthy diet or appropriate oral supplementation. The best approach depends on the individual.

How long does an IV treatment take?

Many Liquivida nutrient IV treatments take approximately 30–45 minutes. Some specialized infusions may require additional time.

What will I feel during the infusion?

Experiences vary depending on the individual and formulation. Some people may notice a cool sensation in the arm or a temporary mineral-like taste with certain ingredients.

You should immediately tell your provider if you experience discomfort or unusual symptoms during your infusion.

How often can I receive IV Therapy?

There is no single schedule that is appropriate for everyone.

Frequency depends on the formulation, your health history, nutritional needs, medications, wellness goals, and the recommendation of your medical provider. Some clients may receive an occasional infusion while others may follow a provider-directed wellness plan.

Do I need a consultation before my first IV?

Your health history and suitability for treatment should be reviewed before receiving IV Therapy. Depending on the infusion and your medical history, additional medical clearance or testing may be recommended.

Can I choose whichever IV drip I want?

You can discuss what you are hoping to accomplish, but the final selection should also take your medical history and the ingredients in each formulation into consideration.

Our goal is to help select an appropriate option rather than simply choosing an IV based on its name.

Can I receive an IV if I take medications?

Possibly, but your medication list should be reviewed beforehand because vitamins, minerals, fluids, and other IV ingredients can interact with medications or affect certain medical conditions.

Always disclose prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, and known allergies before treatment.

Are there side effects?

Possible side effects include temporary discomfort, bruising, redness or irritation at the IV site. Other reactions can occur depending on the ingredients administered and the individual’s health.
